The Employment Rights Act 2025 (England, Wales and Scotland)
The Employment Rights Act received Royal Assent on 18 December 2025. It makes significant changes to Employment law in England, Wales and Scotland, implemented in stages between December 2025 and 2027.
Some of the changes will require further regulations to provide more detail and to confirm the exact implementation dates.
This section aims to summarise the changes that have already happened and that are still planned. We'll keep it updated with the latest developments.
